For those of you who have been waiting for Android 4.4 KitKat ROM,
you can definitely try out the latest Omni ROM, which comes with Android
4.4 KitKat.
Omni ROM is a “preview” ROM and video replay is not working on this ROM so I do not recommend it as a daily driver. BUT, you can easily make a
backup ROM before installing this ROM, try it out, then restore your ROM.
Other than video replay not working, Omni ROM has everything working out of the box including data (to get data working, make sure you put your APN for your carrier!!!), wifi, bluetooth, etc…etc…
With this ROM, you will be able to get a taste of what’s coming with Android 4.4 KitKat and it is pretty darn smooth/faster than Jelly Bean ROMs. Definitely give it a test drive this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
